Here's another installment of the Joshua tree climbing photography series. Lots of great images, IMHO.
One of my favorites is my first decent HDR image (link for details). Another nice one is the sequence of jeremy showing him at different times of the climb. Same thing for a squirrel I caught in various stages of flight. Also of interest are the people having a beer in the cave above/in our camp. Throughout the evening about 3 separate groups free-climbed up to what had to be a sweet outlook. FYI.. free-climb = no ropes. Something that we actually saw a lot of on this trip, and on pretty hard pitches. Not something I'd ever do, but hey... if you've got the balls, go for it, I promise to get you a medic if you pancake.
I'll probably talk nathan into giving up some of his photos, I'm certain there are some beauts. I'm not surprised he hasn't sent any yet. I took about 400 photos to get this handful, and I know he took about the same. It takes a bit of time to find and polish the gems ;).
