This was a last minute trip out towards anza borrego, I think we were headed towards witches creek. But it was closed, so we made do with this campsite. It actually turned out quite well despite the last minute adjustment.
A lot of the pics are long exposure night shots. I'm a big fan of using cheap LEDs (colored lights). The shot of the bluebird represents my favorite of about 50 blurry shots of this same bird. Sometimes the secret to digital photography is quantity is quality, but tons of it is crap. If you're willing to wade through a bunch of lesser shots, you might just find some really good ones.
